Miramar, FL - A South Florida man faces felony charges for pointing a gun at his girlfriend's 7-year-old son during a domestic dispute on Wednesday.
According to Pembroke Park police, 34-year-old Brian Marvin Carridice, of Miramar, threatened the young boy with a Ruger LCP 380 pistol, reportedly warning the child to "stay out of his business."
The exact location of the incident within Pembroke Park is redacted from publicly available reports.
Police arrived at the scene and confiscated the firearm.
A search of Carridice's belongings also revealed two bags of marijuana.
Carridice now faces serious felony charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated child abuse, and possession of marijuana.
He is currently being held in the Broward Main Jail.
